I created Domaine Corinne Depeyre in 2015 by taking over 20 hectares of vines that previously belonged to my father on the family estate in Tulette, a village located in Drôme Provençale. I produce wine in AOP Côtes du Rhône and Vin de France (for more freedom and original vintages) in red, rosé and white. I also produce a “Petnat” vintage, which is a naturally sparkling wine thanks to the sugars contained in the grapes. My wines are fresh and elegant, I work them with as few additives as possible and I also reduce sulphites as much as possible (several vintages in my range are without added sulphites).
Organic and ecological approach: The vines were converted to organic farming before I set up. I wanted to produce wines that reflected my image on a human-sized estate in order to practice agriculture that respects the environment and biodiversity.
Over the years, my agricultural practices have evolved, my vines are grassed with plant cover (for example rye, oats or fava beans) which grow between the rows and which come from organic and local peasant seeds. This helps to naturally decompact the soil, provide organic matter which regenerates the soil and encourage microfauna (insects, rodents, birds, etc.).).I practice agroforestry: we have planted more than 800 species of different trees, shrubs and bushes on my plots. I also welcome a flock of sheep who come to graze my vines in winter.
I produce quality wines which are sold to individuals, wine merchants, CHR, fine wine wholesalers, organic grocery stores (not supermarkets).
