It wasn't actually planned the way it is today.
20 years ago Mr. Arthur Weber started training as a chef. During his apprenticeship he always tried out many things. One day at a quiet a la carte shop, he tried his hand at a salad dressing with whatever came to mind. A small spoon here and there, a few spices and finally herbs, mix once and a salad dressing was ready.
He personally liked the salad dressing very much. He took his sauce and went to colleagues to let them try the salad dressing. Everyone thought you were great. From that day on there was the sauce with the salatan in every restaurant where he worked after his training and later also in his own restaurants. Almost every table asked the service staff for the salad dressing.
At first we all thought it was funny, but eventually almost every table asked for the salad dressing. For this reason we decided to fill the salad dressing into different bottles for the guests, sometimes in empty Proseccom, sometimes in empty water bottles.
After that, Arthur Weber's staff and landlord urged him to have the salad dressing produced and sold.
At first he laughed at everyone and said: "There are so many salad dressings on the market, why should it be mine that everyone likes". But the staff insisted that he have his sauce made. After a certain time, the first bottles went on sale - first in the restaurant and gradually the salad dressing also went into retail.
Arthur Weber now supplies delicatessens, regional Rewe and Edeka markets.

The salad dressing is free of preservatives, contains no coloring and only natural ingredients, just like if you would have prepared it at home.
