Behind Monochrome and its remarkable range of beers in colorful cans hides Cyril, an epicurean with multiple hats. Globetrotter, a great lover of gastronomy and passionate about wine, he discovered with surprise all the aromatic richness that a good craft beer can offer during one of his trips to New Zealand. It is for him a revelation and the starting point of his project: to offer very aromatic beers, brewed with respect for the environment and with as many local products as possible.
In 2018, after 2 years of experimenting with recipes, he created La Valentinoise, a brasserie located in the historic center of Valence in the Drôme which was soon to be talked about. If the base of its range remains all in all still conventional, we already detect a strong taste for originality and the most daring associations of flavors: Truffle beer, Gose with vine peach, beet beer, raspberry, cardamom, etc
The brewery is starting to get talked about and is building a solid reputation locally, but Cyril is not satisfied. What drives him is above all to create... and without limit! For this, he is launching a new brand of Monochrome beers aimed more at a community of geeks who, like him, want to live new experiences around beer.
Monochrome is a range of beers in 100% craft and 100% organic cans! As its name suggests, each beer is represented by a color code which often takes the color of the beer or that of its main ingredient. Through its Monochrome range, it is all the creativity, the audacity and even the extravagance of Cyril that is expressed. A series of ephemeral beers that sets no limits... to the delight of any beer geek.
"Often confusing first sips, but which make you want to come back", Monochrome beers never leave you indifferent. For his recipes, Cyril draws his inspiration from several sources, from cocktail recipes to dishes from great chefs, including his own culinary tastes.
