Novilunio Mencía DO Ribeira Sacra (Galicia)

Novilunio Ribeira Sacra is made with 100% Mencía grapes. 
The Ribeira Sacra area stands out for its granitic and slate soils, with different amounts of silt, sand and clay. 
Novilunio Mencía is produced from an integrated viticulture of very low yield and traditional, heroic in terraces. 
Harvested manually from selected clusters in 12 kg boxes, and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature.
 It stands out for its cherry red color, with a violet rim and a medium-high layer. 
Its aroma is intense and clean, reminiscent of currants, berries, ripe fruit and a floral background of violets, with a marked personality. 
In the mouth it is fresh, balanced and without edges, with a long and complex palate. 
It is distinguished by its elegance and complexity.
 It is a good companion to spicy fish stews, rice, cod, white meats, risottos and legumes.
 Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.   Service temperature: 16 to 18 ºC.
