The Alma de Luna Foundation is a recently established non-profit organization from Granada that allocates 100% of the profits obtained from the sale of our oil to all kinds of solidarity projects related to children.
The objective of the Alma de Luna Foundation is to allocate 100% of the profits obtained, in our main areas of action:

Dissemination and awareness in schools

At the Alma de Luna Foundation we have a purpose of promoting healthy lifestyles through nutrition, and our Solidarity EVOO, to build a healthier and physically and emotionally stronger society.
Our foundation coordinates initiatives to promote healthy habits among children, and collaborates with the University of Granada supporting a research project, with which it is intended to develop strategies to enhance the beneficial effects of olive oil.
The natural olive products present in olive oil have a significant role in the discovery of potentially bioactive drugs.
Triterpenes and polyphenols are a wide group of compounds that have a wide variety of biological activities, among which are analgesic, hepatoprotective, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant effects, prevent cardiovascular diseases and are effectors of the immune system. .
The purpose of the project is to achieve healthy oils based on the enrichment of extra virgin olive oil, with a mixture of polyphenols and triterpenes typical of the olive tree in order to improve their bioavailability and absorption to promote the beneficial effects of virgin olive oil. extra, related to the prevention of childhood obesity.
