This structured and vertical red wine is produced from hand-harvested Malbec grapes from a selected plot in the 45 Ha vineyard of the Winshaw family in Stellenbosch. Vinification and aging: Fermented naturally in open steel vats before pressing, it is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which allows it to offer a very interesting expression of Malbec, all in depth and finesse. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Ruby red color. –Nose: Rich aromatic intensity of wild berries, enhanced with floral and herbaceous notes. –Palate: This wine combines depth and structure with melted tannins. On the palate, it is tense with a dry finish. Aging potential: 5 to 10 years Recommended serving temperature: 16-18°C Recommended consumption: Open and air at least 1 hour before tasting. Food/wine pairing: Ostrich, prime rib, venison in sauce, blue cheese.
