Lapoc Società Cooperativa Agricola was founded in 2014 with over 2.000 members, from the experience gained over time by the Free Association of Calabrian Olive Producers, which operates in the Calabrian territory, with 6.000 members, since 1994.
This is a unique project of its kind: bringing together a selected group of olive producers, who have distinguished themselves over time for quality and reliability, from the Strait to the Pollino, in a synthesis framework that contains ancient traditions and matured experiences, with particular attention to the technological evolution of the sector.
Tradition and innovation are, therefore, the key words of this new, young and dynamic entrepreneurial reality which, from love for its land, wants to trace a firm line of sustainable development.
It is now good practice to bring forward the harvest between October and the first days of November, thus renouncing more copious oil yields, in order to obtain a product that passes the rigid evaluation of the sensory analysis panel test of olive oil, to which judgment we submit oil samples from our members before we can acquire it and translate it into "Lydoy Oil".
