Indigeno was born in the kitchen from the free and lively experimentation of two friends: Agata, a cooking teacher, and Rita, a journalist and writer.
No ancient family recipes handed down, just a common passion for the botany of Etna and for the unprecedented combinations that look at traditional knowledge with a contemporary eye and taste.
Indigeno draws its lifeblood from pleasant excursions on Etna, from the stories of farmers, able to tell the wild Sicilian countryside in simple words, from the advice of expert agronomists, from the echo of a rich and varied culture. But above all from a deep harmony with Nature.
