Roasted Manakara Berry

Schinus Therevinthifolius Net volumes and weight: 50ml / 35g / 1.23oz Description: These berries, improperly called "pepper" because they do not belong to the Piperaceae family, are also called: Tenor Pepper or Chinese coffee. If the flavor of these berries closely resembles pink peppercorns, it is because they are actually the seeds of pink peppercorns. Ours are lightly roasted which gives them a texture reminiscent of cocoa nibs. We find these very aromatic notes of pink berry, fruity and floral but without the resinous notes. They are also devoid of spiciness. Directions for use: They do not tolerate cooking except for very gentle cooking such as papillote and do not like the company of acids. They are suitable for cream sauces, white meats and poultry.& nbsp; They bring a colorful and fruity touch to carpaccios and tartares of fish or white meats. They are perfect for seasoning salmon, trout, or shellfish. Surprise your guests by using them in sweet dishes, in exotic fruit salads or simply with vanilla ice cream, citrus sorbets or dark chocolate.
