Albacore tuna (or white tuna), is the noblest of the tuna species fished between June and October. The tuna belly is a rare and tasty dish! She is so rare that there is only 4 kg for a tuna of 100KG. This is the part ventral, the fatest and the noblest of the fish. She is the one who contains the famous Omega 3, these fatty acids with multiple benefits for our health! Its long pieces of fillets perfectly complement your salads, tapas or other hot dishes. SEASONALITY: tuna is caught between June and October in the Basque Country. This dish being very rare and in demand, we sometimes run out of stocks - so we have to wait until the next fishing season. 62.86 € / KG JEAN DE LUZ CANNING IS: An organic, artisanal and local cannery. We are French craftsmen and proud of being, in fact the production of all our products is done manually in our workshop in Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (New Aquitaine). All our ingredients are sourced less than 250km from our Saint Jean de Luz workshop.
