Grinded coffee

Specialty coffee of the Red Bourbon variety harvested and processed in northern Rwanda following the washed method to highlight the fruity notes and the particular citrus aroma that delicately drifts towards vanilla, white grapes and chocolate. On the slopes of the extraordinary volcanic lands, which exceed two thousand metres, in the district of Gakenke, in northern Rwanda, the beauty of nature gratifies the dedication of small producers who pick the ripest coffee cherries by hand. The microclimate with two periods of autumn rains creates a wonderfully complex terroir from which the specialty coffee of the Red Bourbon variety universally recognized as unique is born. Collected and processed following the washed method to highlight the fruity notes and the particular citrus aroma that delicately slides towards vanilla, white grapes and chocolate. The Dukunde Kawa Cooperative is the winner of international awards for ecological practices of resistance to climate change, to ensure the future sustainability of production.
