
The Roero hills in Piedmont have always been suited to producing great wines. This fruity and tannic red wine is produced in Vezza d'Alba, by the Demarie family who run their 30Ha estate with expertise and passion. Vinification and aging: Fermentation in steel vats in contact with the skins for at least 15 days, and aging for a few months in Slavonian oak barrels, give this wine an enveloping texture, marked tannins, a beautiful aromatic complexity, enhanced by an elegant acidity. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Intense color that evolves from brilliant ruby red to deep garnet. –Nose: Notes of violet, raspberry and blackberry, tinged with elegant touches of spices and licorice. –Palate: Round, presenting a perfect balance between fruitiness, marked tannins and elegant acidity. Aging potential: 7 to 10 years Recommended serving temperature: 16-18°C Recommended consumption: Open and air at least 1 hour before tasting.
