
DESCRIPTION: This light and fruity red wine is produced by Tenuta Bastonaca, a 15-hectare family estate located in the South East of Sicily, looking to the future but firmly anchored in the Sicilian wine tradition. Vinification and aging: The grapes are selected manually, destemmed, then alcoholic fermentation and a maceration stage with the skins are carried out for 12 days. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. Finally, the wine is aged for 4 months in steel vats and at least 4 months in bottles. This vinification and aging process allows the freshness and fruity and floral varietal aromas of Frappato to be preserved. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Bright ruby red color. –Nose: Beautiful aromatic bouquet of red fruits and small red berries, such as blackberries, raspberries and strawberries, with notes of flower petals. –Palate: Elegant, fresh, light, supple, it offers an explosion of red fruit flavors.
