texas rub

The Rub comes from the English "to rub" which means to rub. Also called “rubbing spices” or “rubbing salt”, it is most often used in a dry marinade. The principle is to apply the Rub directly to the food without mixing it with oil or any other liquid. It is essential for an American grill. Its primary function is to flavor meats without distorting them. Its use can extend to fish or vegetables / starches. The barbecue is the great Texan specialty. The meat is slowly smoked and the secret to its success lies in the Rub that is used. In the Old West era, cowboys used coffee and salt as Rub to flavor their meats in the desert. We imagined a Rub which combines this great era and the modern; while taking into account the strong Mexican influence. Our Texas Rub is made from very good Central American coffee. It is associated with two peppers: Pequin pepper (hot but dosed sparingly) which is locally known and found quite easily in the wild in Texas and northern Mexico. As well as chipotle which is a fairly mild Mexican chili, traditionally smoked with cashew shells. Coffee seems surprising, but it is very often used in the land of the Rub. This spicy mixture, but without excess, will bring a lot of character to your pieces of beef. Test and enjoy! 100% natural: no additives, no coloring, no preservatives, no GMOs and no irradiation.
