Ambassador of Breton identity, Bo Cocos was born in 2016 in Paimpol, a famous fishing port in Côtes d'Armor.

Bo Cocos was born when a gastronomic local from Paimpol who was passionate about his job as a charcutier-caterer wanted to sublimate the “Coco de Paimpol” by putting it in a jar after having created an innovative shelling process.

“Coco de Paimpol” is a fresh white shelled bean. Its pod is pale yellow, mottled with purple; its grain is pearly white. Beans have been grown in Brittany since the 18th century. It will be necessary to wait until 1928 for a sailor to bring back coconut seeds from Latin America and sow them in the lands of Goëlo. The first bean to obtain an AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) in France in 1998, it has since been recognized at European level and now benefits from an AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée).

Our jars are sold in supermarkets and supermarkets, in specialized stores and on some online sites. They are now distributed in a hundred points of sale in Brittany.
