The climate is temperate there.     Finca Santa Fé was founded in 1855 by a Mexican family.
 It was previously located in the Guatemalan zone, because Chiapas became Mexican in 1824.     In 2009, Jorge Arreola Nava launched into coffee production by buying Finca Santa Fé, setting up certified production from organic farming.
