WINE & MARC BRANDY 459 – Cuvée 40% vol

The distiller Fridolin Baumgartner, based at the Kaiserstuhl, attaches great importance to the strictest selection and clean processing, as well as fermentation in the closed fermentation tank so that the mash does not oxidize. For the WEIN- & TRESTERBRAND 459, the grand master experimented with marc, kirsch and brandy with various combinations of the Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Müller-Thurgau varieties. The end result was a cuvée made from various distillates, some of which had matured in barrels for more than 25 years - and a product beyond the classic spirits category.
