TYPICAL BASQUE COUNTRY DISH, chipiron is the local name for the small squid, cooked with a piperade according to the Basque tradition. Prepared by hand, the vegetables and spices come from a organic farming, just like olive oil sourced in circuit short which comes from Navarre (less than 200 km from our workshop production). GENEROUS RECIPE IN CALAMARS and organic vegetables, which will delight in love with the Basque Country! No additives, dyes or other perlimpinpin! Cooked dish for 2 people. JEAN DE LUZ CANNING IS: An organic, artisanal and local cannery. We are French craftsmen and proud of being, in fact the production of all our products is done manually in our workshop in Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (New Aquitaine). And we are proud to have (re) localized traditional craftsmanship. A local approach. Located 6 km from the Saint Jean de Luz auction, our supply is wild (fish), organic and local. All our ingredients are sourced less than 250km from our Saint Jean de Luz workshop. Committed to a zero waste and zero plastic approach, our packaging is 100% recyclable (and our cardboard boxes are recycled). Our recognition: We are a member of the Culinary College of France and recognized Artisan Producer of Quality. We were awarded an Epicure d'Or prize in 2021 by the jury of Le Monde de l'Epicerie Fine. We are members of the Slow Food Basque Country Biziona movement.
