Mustilli's Piedirosso is a red wine from the Sannio area of Benevento which is vinified and aged in steel. It releases delicate aromas of cherries, berries, aromatic herbs and light spicy sensations. On the palate it has a balanced and subtle body, characterized by a delicious freshness and soft tannins. Agata dei Goti, selected and harvested by hand. Fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature for approximately two weeks. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent maturation always in steel vats. COLOR: brilliant ruby red with violet reflections, medium intense. BOUQUET intense, persistent, fine, delicately fruity with notes of ripe red fruits, decidedly floral with hints of medicinal plants, lavender, sage, thyme. TASTE dry, savory, delicately tannic, warm-bodied, quite soft. Balanced and intense with notes of dried fruit. SERVING TEMPERATURE 15-17° C GASTRONOMIC COMBINATION It goes very well with pasta with meat sauce, timbales, rice sartù, crusted meatloaf. Suggested pairing with fish-based dishes, especially in soup.
