Ratte Potatoes [EU Only]

They have a soft texture and a thin skin, and are also characterized by a delicate chestnut aftertaste. They are an important natural source of antioxidants. Rich in potassium and complex carbohydrates, fiber, mineral salts and vitamins. It is also called "asparagus potato" due to its particular elongated shape. Indicated for lowering blood pressure. They inhibit the development of cancer cells. Recommended for diabetics. Ideal boiled, cooked in the oven (with the whole peel!) and to make delicious purées or dumplings. It was the main ingredient of the purée made by starred chef Joël Robuchon, defined as "the best in the world". Ratte potatoes have been grown by our farm in the Alta Tuscia Viterbese area since 2012.
