GliAironi has always wanted to be the spokesperson for the culture and historicity of a Made in Italy product of excellence, narrating it grain by grain. This is why gliAironi has always maintained that "rice is at the center of everything".
Rice is at the heart of the story.
The history of a territory, that of the Vercelli granges. In these lands, reclaimed and cultivated in 1100 by Cistercian and Benedictine monks, Vercelli rice was born, which has been the flagship of the productions of this area ever since.
The story of a family, the Perinotti family, which for five generations has gained experience in the cultivation of rice in these lands, and which has dedicated its existence to improving the cultivation conditions of the Pracantone Estate. Over the years, the Perinotti family has been joined by a competent and cohesive team, led by Gabriele Conte, the group's Brand Evangelist.
The story of a company that has always focused on quality and a return to the agriculture of the past. It is no coincidence that the name of the company is a tribute by Michele Perinotti to the gray herons, a species in danger of extinction, which returned to populate the rice fields of the area only a few years ago, when it stopped focusing on intensive rice cultivation based on quantity and the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
The story of a product for which the Aironis have always had great respect, treating it with care and working it as little as possible. For this reason, for example, gliAironi rice is the only one on the market to keep the Bud, a fundamental part of the rice grain, symbol of a delicate and minimally invasive process that preserves proteins, vitamins, mineral salts and enzymes. The presence of the gem on the grain, where it was placed by nature, is also synonymous with palatability

While respecting the path that led the company to be a national symbol of rice excellence, today gliAironi concentrates a great deal of effort on product innovation.
