Basilippo means "village of the forest of the moon", it is believed that this Tartessian city (Bronze Age, 10th to 6th centuries BC) was located between the towns of El Viso del Alcor and Carmona in the province of Seville. The Tartessos had an intense relationship with the Acebuche (wild olive tree) due to the multiple benefits of its fruit, the olive.
