By founding his own Cognac house at the beginning of the 20th century, Henri Peyrat wanted to pass on to future generations his passion for this timeless know-how, emblem of a French art of living and promise of privileged moments where sensations prevail. on reality. Today, proud of this heritage, his grandson Philippe's primary ambition is to open doors to a world of refined creations, intense aromas and proven finesse.

Remarkable for their infinite richness, Peyrat Cognacs reflect the soul of their terroir and all the excellence of their prestigious appellation wines.

He founded his own company just after the First World War, creating a wine and spirits business in the early 1920s and quickly becoming a respected and recognized merchant throughout the region. Its wines and spirits come from all French regions, in particular from all the south of the country and mainly from Bordeaux but also from Algeria. From the cellars and the offices of the company located in the heart of the city center of Cognac, Henri Peyrat's main concern is the establishment of solid links with the producers and the most important suppliers in order to benefit from a constant supply, both in quality than in quantity.

For thirty years, the activity of the company, under the aegis of its founder, prospered and it was from a renowned house of which Jean Peyrat, son of Henri, took control in 1948. Attentive to the movements of the world at that time, he decided to focus distribution on the export of Cognac to markets increasingly attracted by this fine and intense French spirit.

Jean's eldest son, Henri, joined the company in 1968 to head the export division of the Cognac markets. His brother, Philippe, joined him after training in several European countries and now runs the company. Philippe's children have in turn joined the great family adventure: Clémence now takes care of marketing and communication, in France and abroad Édouard has taken the reins of business development.
