  • Since 1983
Armagnac Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Madame Jeanne Ménal Goudoulin, born in 1887 in Mouchan in the Gers. Jeanne Goudoulin became the owner of the Domaine de Bigor in Courrensan by marriage, and following the death of her husband Joseph Goudoulin in 1925, following war injuries of 14/18, she operated her property of the Domaine de Bigor located in Courrensan alone. in Bas-Armagnac.

In the 1930s and 1940s, she sold her Armagnacs on the markets, particularly in the Bearnaise region.

She has a large stock of Armagnac, accumulated by herself and previous generations and therefore decides to market it directly in 1935.

In 1964, his grandson Christian Faure came to lend him a hand. In 1967, he took over the estate after several years spent with his grandmother who passed on to him all her knowledge and all her art in the field.

In 2009, after having developed the activity and the notoriety of the brand, Christian Faure retired. Michel Miclo, owner of the G. Miclo family distillery in Alsace, acquires Armagnacs Veuve Goudoulin and sets up a team whose mission is to develop a new influence for the brand while preserving the authenticity and recognized quality of the armagnacs.

Thanks to its large personal stocks, Armagnac Veuve Goudoulin presents very old vintages, of remarkable quality, which will give you satisfaction as much by their finesse as by their aroma and bouquet, all from the best terroirs.

Since 2009, Goudoulin has regained its premium positioning, making it one of the renowned houses in the world of Armagnac.
