In organic farming for over 50 years, the Domaine des 5 Autels produces excellent ciders (biodynamic, without inputs, without sulphites, spontaneous and slow fermentation from indigenous yeasts and foaming using the ancestral method).
The estate also produces apple juice, Calvados and cider vinegar.
On these Norman lands, 4 generations of enthusiasts have succeeded one another.
Abel founded the farm at the turn of the century, Maurice converted it to organic farming in 1967, Jean René and Claude planted 12ha of apple trees there in the early 1980s.
Since 2018, Thibault has continued the family adventure while respecting the values of his ancestors, "natural agricultural methods for exceptional products".
In 2019, he committed the estate to a process of carbon neutrality and conversion to biodynamics (Demeter certified in 2023).
