Wild nettle pesto

We have chosen to innovate! To get away from the classics, we have imagined a recipe for pesto with nettles, this plant with multiple benefits. Collected in the Combrailles in the heart of Auvergne, the nettles are then dried before being added to the pesto. The nettle, less spicy than the basil, brings a warm fragrance in the mouth. This succulent and original recipe will delight gourmets and lovers of originality, many are the curious who are tempted by this pesto. How to taste it? You can use it as a classic pesto with pasta, in sauce, to garnish buckwheat pancakes with raw ham... Our favorite recipe idea in the team: Spread this nettle pesto on a slice of bread, place a piece of goat cheese then bake in the oven for just 5 minutes at 180° so that the bread crisps and the cheese melts... Serve as an aperitif or in a warm goat cheese salad .
