Our black Malabar pepper is cultivated in India, in the province of Wayanad, state of Kerala. This pepper has the distinction of being the first cultivated pepper. It’s a pepper with character. It is renowned for the roundness of its aroma and the power of its scent. It has woody, ripe notes, with a slight acidity and a long persistence in the mouth, with a touch of freshness at the end of the mouth. It is an excellent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. In cooking, it goes very well with game, red meats, raw or cooked vegetables and red fruits.
