L'incontro was created by two italian siblings, Alessandro and Roberta, who shared a love for Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. It's a daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. So why not try to share this tradition with UK homes? Inspired by this simple mission, our founders set out to bring the freshness and quality of the italian ""tagliere"" they grew up enjoying everyday in Italy to British Kitchens.
L'incontro embodies the values that inspire its creators: passion, quality, tradition, innovation, care, attention to details all with an Italian core. All of them are daily applied to the process of making our products in order to obtain the best of the excellence that we can provide. A value expressed by many today but respected by few. Even after generations, we continue using only carefully selected raw materials and give products the unique flavours that distinguish them.
Each cold cut is created by the hands of the people who have worked in the company for years and still teach this profession to young people, to maintain tradition and teach the importance of our origins.The desire to maintain and respect the origins of the “Bel Paese” to offer only truly exceptional products while respecting the passion for the Italian culinary tradition.
Our ingredients are sourced seasonally and sustainably from a network of meticulously selected small farmers and local growers across Italy. We carefully test each ingredient to guarantee the highest quality and ensure that every item in our boxes beautifully complement each other for the ultimate Italian experience.
The goal is excellence, the result of the combination of fine meats and the aromas of cheeses, cradled in the embrace of our appetisers and mediterranean chutneys, thus creating our Tagliere boards, the emblem of the products of L'incontro.
