Four "classic" spices

Widely used in French cuisine, the "four spices" is composed of pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Its hot and spicy flavor is suitable for both savory and sweet dishes. They flavor - among other things - meats, terrines, fruits and the famous gingerbread.
