THE BRAND : Founded in 2019, Two Worlds Whiskey releases its first bottle “La Victoire Batch 1” at the end of 2020. Each edition of “La Victoire” is composed of straight bourbon whiskeys distilled and aged in the United States. The bourbons are carefully selected before being assembled according to a unique recipe, developed by master blender Ashley Barnes and expressly designed to please the demanding palates of French connoisseurs. A bourbon created in homage to the “hero of both worlds: On March 26, 1777, the Marquis de La Fayette, then aged 19, secretly embarked for America, in defiance of the orders of Louis XVI who threatened to arrest him. HASBordeaux, he embarks on La Victoire, sets sail towards the west and leaves to fight for freedom alongside the American rebels.

 To pay tribute to La Fayette's maiden voyage to America, this first edition of Two Worlds Whiskey was specially created for the historic ally of the United States: France. TASTING: Made from eleven barrels of Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled and aged in the United States. A heart of 15-year-old Straight Bourbon Whiskey, balanced by a delicate and fruity 4-year-old Straight Bourbon Whiskey and rounded off by a smooth 5-year-old Bourbon. The barrels of the eleven blended whiskeys are new, in accordance with the “bourbon whiskey” designation. A very elegant bourbon of undeniable finesse and delicacy despite its 54.7% strength. Very expressive on the nose with notes of fresh fruit and white flowers atypical of a bourbon. In the mouth: delicious and evolving notes of salted butter caramel, tarte tatin, crème pâtissière, fresh pear, apricot, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Long and complex finish.It is enjoyed as a digestive but also goes wonderfully with desserts and cigars. Limited edition of 2107 numbered bottles.
