Apango is a nomadic Bordeaux brewery that offers craft beers with exotic flavors and Malagasy and Indian Ocean gastronomic influences. They are partly brewed with red rice from Madagascar, which gives them an original floral sweetness. In April 2021, Red Rice Ale was doubly rewarded:
• Silver medal at the Concours International de Lyon in the best “Pale Ale” style beer category.
• Silver medal at the France Bière Challenge in the “Wheat beer and other cereals” category.
In 2022, two new recipes will be added to the permanent range:
• MAFANA IPA: An IPA-style beer infused with brèdes mafanes flowers.
• AMBER RICE ALE: A caramelized amber with notes of exotic fruits.
