What do you need to know about our products?

A natural and simple salt: Herio salts are 100% natural. They don't
contain absolutely no additives, and undergo no transformation
after being harvested. Mainly composed of sodium chloride,
our salt is also rich in magnesium, potassium and calcium,
naturally present in seawater from which Herio salt is extracted.

A traditional salt, harvested by hand in Noirmoutier: the salt is
harvested on the family salt marsh, called "Grand Champ", to the west of
the island of Noirmoutier. Harvesting is done using the salting method
traditional, established in Noirmoutier for more than 1000 years. She has
takes place every year between June and September, thanks to evaporation under
the effect of summer sun and wind.

A cooking salt above all: Herio salts are not salts
"exceptional" but many everyday salts. Herio offers 3 salts for
3 uses: coarse salt, to be used generously to prepare water and
moist cooking; fine salt, pinch or salt shaker, for
season all dishes, simple as well as refined; and finally the flower of
salt, to add a final burst of flavor and sublimate the plate just
before tasting.
