It’s with our Bordeaux ceps from France or Spain (the Pyrenees!)that we make this small preparation in individual verrines. Our preserved porcini mushroom flan is a grandmother's recipe with a surprising taste. It’s a delicious mushroom flan covered in a red wine and porcini mushroom sauce. We receive our fresh porcini mushrooms from the Pyrenees and we work them in our kitchen in Castets using a traditional recipe of which Valeska, our culinary creator, holds the secret. It is an original garnish that will ideally accompany your dishes and delight the taste buds of your guests. A traditional local recipe that we offer you with this artisanal preserve. Canned porcini mushroom flan is a typical preserve from the South-West, a 100% homemade preserve without preservatives or additives. Preparation advice: Reheat as is in a bain-marie directly in its jar (around 10 minutes), taking care to first pull on the rubber. This flan can be enjoyed as is, directly in its jar with a small spoon. As you bite, the flan mixes with the sauce, and thus transforms the taste throughout the tasting. The porcini mushroom flan can be served as an accompaniment, with some porcini mushrooms fried with garlic and parsley, and some grilled potatoes. This family recipe generally accompanies red meats (rib steak, duck breast, roast squab, etc.)),but you can also accompany this porcini flan with good langoustines for a gourmet meal.
