The story...
This recipe began around ten years ago, in the small kitchen of a Fréjus brasserie.
I wanted to bring something new to the gourmet coffee offered on the restaurant's menu. And what a change from the usual sweet treats, too often served with this dessert. The idea was to create a soft and tasty little cake, with a dose of Provence.
So this is how Madeleine Provençale was born!
Soft and generous, with a good taste of butter, a touch of honey and a little almond…
