15 minutes from Quimper, Maison Percelay is a Breton family business that has been making crepes by hand for 50 years. The company decided to expand to start manufacturing artisanal biscuits – galoches bigoudènes, madeleines, buckwheat shortbread, Breton palets plain or with chocolate chips… sold in boxes or bags, or Kouign Amann, a Breton cake… retail in the shop.
This is also where you can find “the best crepe in the world”, wheat crepe or buckwheat crepe, sold in packs of six or twelve. The house works with local producers to supply raw milk, flour and eggs. Maison Percelay also sells cider, chocolate, apple juice and locally made chouchen. The loyal clientele, regional, national but also English, German or Canadian, likes to come to the biscuit factory to watch Maryse and Marie-Armelle produce quality pancakes on the cast iron billigs.
All their finesse and softness can be enjoyed in the shop or on the terrace with tea, coffee, cider or apple juice. A culinary tourism visit to enjoy with the family.
