Yellow Solfarino Bean 300g. [EU only]

The yellow Solfarino bean is a very valuable variety and cultivated exclusively in some areas of Central Italy, near Tuscany.   It has a very thin skin which makes it easily digestible, and is also characterized by an intense but delicate flavour, rich in proteins, starch, fiber and mineral salts.   It takes its name from the particular color of the peel, light yellow, which recalls that of 'sulphur'.   Also known as butter bean due to its very thin skin which makes it very creamy when enjoyed in every dish.   Soaking 90 minutes / Cooking 60 minutes [pressure cooker cooking 20' from the start of the whistle] To savor the quality of the bean it is advisable to taste it with the addition of salt and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.   Excellent when combined with fish-based dishes, alternatively it is ideal for making hot soups, side dishes, delicious salads and gourmet dishes.
