Amazit was born from the meeting between Oscar and Mehdi ten years ago. A Franco-Moroccan friendship that was created around values and a common passion: the taste of good products as well as sharing.
Very quickly, we realized the difficulty of finding, in French shops, certain flagship products of Moroccan and Amazigh (Berber) culinary culture. And even more for local products where quality, traceability and authenticity are the watchwords.
Amazit aims to become a strong culinary intermediary between Morocco and France, specifically on IGP roasted Argan Oil and its derivatives, such as Amlou.
Today, we have established a real relationship of trust and partnership with our partners in Morocco, in particular with certain traditional women's agricultural cooperatives on site. We thus certify real traceability from the producer to the end consumer.
Throughout the supply chain, we emphasize local and artisanal work as much as possible, particularly in the choice of our partners. Amlou is therefore produced in an artisanal cannery in Maine-et-Loire, with honey and fleur de sel from Loire-Atlantique in particular.
