We baptized it “Picualia” in honor of the variety of olive that is harvested mainly in the province of Jaén: Picual, variety reputed to be the best for health among the 2600 existing varieties of olives.
Our mill, recognized as the best mill in Spain and one of the most modern in the world, receives more than 30,000 tons of olives every year to produce more than 6,000 tons of olive oil. Our oils are 100 % mono-varietal. No blends or cuts. We wanted to highlight the characteristics and flavors of each variety. And above all, we wanted the consumer to really know what he was buying.
