My name is Dietmar Vogelmann, better known as “farmer without a farm”. Together with my family I founded a small outdoor farm in Waldbronn (LK Karlsruhe) in 2020. Our plan is to produce regional food - species-appropriate and seasonal - all without a farm!
The idea for Rhein tastes cider came about when we got a meadow orchard to cultivate. The first crowdfunding campaign in 2021 then did the rest. Badener orchard cider for the region, of course, you are welcome to make it known nationwide!
From innkeeper, to business economist, to farmer!
After living in Vietnam for almost a decade, my family and I came back to Germany in 2018. We have always been interested in trying out new projects and doing everyday things differently in order to look for alternatives.
Rhein g`schmeckt Cider went from a pipe dream to reality thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2021. I, Dietmar Vogelmann, the founder, am a trained hotel specialist and business administration graduate. After almost 15 years abroad, I have now returned to my home country of Germany to make a difference.
We, that means my family and I, strive to bring nature conservation, biodiversity and regional food in line with profitability and transparency.
