Established in Crespin in early 2017, the Amblise brewery naturally draws its inspiration from the brewing traditions of northern France and Belgium. However, she strives to revisit these traditional influences by bringing a resolutely contemporary dimension to her production.
The craft beers of the Amblise brewery are exclusively made from European hops and noble ingredients. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, these are typical, authentic and lively beers.
The Amblise brewery takes its name from a forest once located in the heart of Hainaut, a province which then stretched from Cambrai to Mons. This forest served as a refuge for the monk Saint-Landelin who, in 670, caused a spring to gush there and founded the abbey of Crespin there. Centuries later, this same source would have been used by one of the city's first breweries.
