WHO ARE WE ?
Reasoned and responsible...
Favoring sustainable agriculture, the raw materials used are carefully selected.
The cereals (barley and wheat) are French (a nod to our Alsatian friends whose weather is ideal for the best hops); the spelled which grows on the Vaucluse lands is ground by a mill in the Bouches-du-Rhône; while the coriander is supplied by an herbalist from Aubagnais & the orange peel comes from the Alpes-Maritimes.
The Brasserie du Castellet positions itself as much as possible in an approach
environmentally friendly.
It is equipped with a wastewater treatment plant, in particular to control its discharges.
Waste related to the activity of the Brewery (glass, wood, cardboard) undergoes rigorous selective sorting.
As for the draff (residue of the barley after racking off the must), it is given to Biquet des Meaulnes, a local farmer who uses it to feed his animals.
In exchange, the Brasserie team is regularly offered the famous little goat cheeses...
The Brasserie du Castellet is above all the daily life of a team.
