Drift Pleasure beer what is it? To deviate from a norm, to go on an adventure. We do it for you by creating 3 unique recipes, brewed in the old-fashioned way on the Basin in noble materials. Everything is done by hand, heated over a wood fire in a copper tank (natural bactericide) and fermented in St Emilion barrels (micro oxygenation of the yeasts).
In addition, during brewing we add oyster shells (local waste) composed of limestone and therefore calcium and magnesium, essential nutrients for yeasts for better fermentation, rest assured these are not oyster beers. . Our white cuvées from the South-West sublimate our terroir, the Dry with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc will go well with oysters and seafood, the Sweet with its mellowness will bring power and roundness to foie gras.
Our method and our recipes are unique, for the rest no surprises, just a good honest and lively beer, unfiltered and refermented in the bottle. By drinking it, you participate in the development and independence of La Dérive. Thank you.
