“iessi” means “to be, to exist” in Friulian, the regional language of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Inspired by an Italian family recipe, iessi is an alcohol-free aperitif made from plant extracts and natural infusions. Its pleasant bitterness is the result of a mixture of gentian root, cinchona bark, bitter orange and rhubarb. Lively notes of citrus, ginger and cherry, highlighted by a touch of chili.
