BULK 250g/1kg - Madras curry

Used for the first time in the 16th century by British colonists, the term "curry" is an Anglicism of the Indian word "kari" designating the sauced dishes of Indian cuisine.   There are several types of curry which vary according to region, and their color depends on their composition.  Our Madras curry consists of turmeric, coriander, cumin, pepper, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.   It is this assembly which gives it its golden yellow color.   What recipes use curry?  Mixed with coconut milk, the curry cooks divinely well with chicken, white fish, shrimp or vegetables, legumes and tubers, such as zucchini, chickpeas, potatoes or even carrots.  For the more adventurous, curry can be used on fruit-based desserts: pies, salads and crumbles, or directly sprinkled on apples, pears and bananas.   The strong point of curry?   Its ease of use: sprinkle it into your preparation, preferably at the start of cooking, and that’s it!   Its sweet and spicy aroma will take care of the rest.   Our Madras Curry is available in 50 g and 100 g glass bottles, or in 250 g refill bags.  Store it in a dry, cool place, away from light.   Madras Curry does not expire, but we recommend use within 48 months to preserve the full intensity of its aromas.
