The tonka bean is an elongated seed from South America with almond and vanilla flavors. Amazing with chocolate, honey, cherries, rhubarb, apricots. "Bluffing" with trout or scallops, mashed potatoes. Kitchen tip: to grate them, use a nutmeg grater or just a knife. Our boxes are made of tinplate and have a double lid to preserve the aromas.
