TIJUCA is a new brand of premium spirits that creates blends of rums and cachaças aged in different Brazilian woods to make you discover a whole range of unique and original aromas.
Our sugar canes are harvested by hand on the terroirs of our partner fazendas. At the end of a natural fermentation, the distillation takes place in a single pass in a copper still.
After aging in endemic wood by Brazilian alambiqueiros mestres, our spirits are assembled without any artificial additives.
TIJUCA pays homage to the eponymous forest of Rio de Janeiro, replanted in the 19th century by Emperor Pedro II for ecological purposes and famous for its biodiversity.
TIJUCA has taken as its emblem the toucan which contributes to the development of Mata Atlântica, a Brazilian coastal forest that has seen the birth of the trees used to make the barrels for aging our spirits.
To help save it, TIJUCA plants a tree for each bottle sold, in collaboration with a small community in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
