Since 1975, Burk's noodles have been manufactured in our noodle factory in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart and sold locally and in neighboring regions. The original range of various homemade fresh egg pasta (made from durum wheat semolina and eggs freshly beaten daily) has been expanded over the years to include organic pasta and gourmet pasta made from durum wheat and spelled in many special recipes with and without eggs. In almost 50 years, our products have become a regional brand that is held in high esteem by retailers and end consumers alike.

Then as now, we are a small family business that is characterized by great variety, a warm bond with the Franconian region and of course the particularly delicious taste of our pasta, simply "pasta like grandma made".

As we used to do when making noodles "with a rolling pin", we roll out the dough for tagliatelle - using machine-driven rollers - but very thinly in the original way before it is cut. When hanging up the noodles to dry and packaging the noodles, a lot of manual work is still required to give the inner values an attractive appearance.
The rolling results in a particularly fluffy pasta dough, which is also reflected in the fact that the pasta rises during cooking and "floats" in the cooking water. In addition, rolled pasta has an internal dough structure that gives it a special "bite" and a rougher surface that sauces stick to better.
