Aréni is a grape variety described as prehistoric, originating from the village of Aréni which gave it its name in the west of the Vayots Dzor region. This locality is close to Mount Ararat where Noah is said to have stranded and at the foot of which the biblical character planted the first vineyard. It is also this grape variety that would have been found in archaeological excavations highlighting the first winemaking work on the vines by humans. The grapes used for this bottle are grown at an altitude of 1050 meters, in the village of Areni in Armenia which gave its name to the grape variety. Storage: between 5 and 20°C away from light.
