This is not trivial because many of our bay leaves come from Turkey! 

These are produced in family fields, harvested with pruning shears, these dried bay leaves are the fruit of local work. 

The trees were planted almost 30 years ago, which makes them more resistant to hazards, and which gives all its character to this emblematic grass. •A family story spanning 3 generations. 

From grandparents, to parents, to children, the know-how has been passed on to produce unique herbs in France. 

In the 1960s, Christian, the grandfather, sold laurel outside churches. 

It was a great success ! 

Artisanal production methods have not changed one iota since, which gives this iconic herb all its character.
