Born in 2017, the slightly crazy project of Le Champignon Urbain has become a reality: growing edible mushrooms in the city, in places doomed to abandonment.
Since then, the mycelium has spread to the heart of the old chapel of Martray and in the industrial wasteland of the MIN of the Ile de Nantes.
Camille and Romain, hosts of the place, grow 10 tons of oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms and brown mushrooms in organic farming every year.
We also offer shiitake terrines, growing kits and educational workshops.
